Africa is in Crisis:
There are over 30 million AIDS victims and 12 million orphans in Africa today.
The Goal of the Operation
4,000 orphan villages caring directly for 400,000 orphans and 80,000 widows. These orphan villages will indirectly aid through community outreach programs another 4 million orphans and 800,000 widows.
For $25 per month an individual can join with 250 other caring people and over a six year period raises the capital to purchase a self-dependent orphan village. Together, we can raise over $1 billion to accomplish this goal and significantly impact the AIDS pandemic in Southern Africa.
Each orphan village is self-dependent and cares for 100 orphans and 20 widows who have been directly affected by the loss of parents and children to the AIDS virus. The orphan village will raise the orphans, and include instruction on AIDS prevention and care, job skills, career development and a Judeo-Christian world-view. Each partnering entity through the OCOV program will have the opportunity to interact with “their” farm through the internet, letters, visits, mentoring and assistance.
